In 2018, Elena graduated from Washington University in St Louis with a Ph.D. degree in Political Science and MA in Statistics. Afterward, she joined ETH Zurich as a postdoctoral researcher. While working there, Elena got especially excited about Machine Learning and Deep Learning in particular. In 2020, she decided to join Microsoft’s Commercial Software Engineering team in Zurich as a Data Scientist specializing in Applied Machine Learning.
