Since I graduated from the EITM summer institute and subsequently received my joint Ph.D. in Politics and Social Policy from Princeton University, I have accepted a postdoctoral position in the Leitner Effective Democratic Governance Project of the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University. As a part of my position at Yale, I continue my research on public and policy responses to ethnic diversity and immigration in high-income democracies. My ongoing book project “Borders of Compassion” examines under what conditions most people would accept more open immigration policies. My other work has been published in American Political Science Review, Comparative Political Studies, Conflict Management and Peace Science, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Journal of Politics, and Political Psychology.
