Dr. Vande Kamp leads a dual research agenda in judicial politics and political methodology. His substantive research confronts the puzzle of judicial review by constitutional courts in the shadow of punitive measures by the executive and legislative branches of government. His methodological research develops techniques for modelling data that exhibit autocorrelation, both serial and spatial. Prior to arriving at the University of Georgia, he received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas A&M University.
