EITM Summer Institutes
Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the summer institute trains graduate students and junior faculty in Empirical Implications of Theoretical Models (EITM), a research strategy that integrates theoretical models and empirical research to improve and expand our understanding of politics. The institute integrates developments and findings from throughout political science, including the substantive areas of American politics, comparative politics, international relations, and political economy.

The 2024 EITM Summer Institute will run from June 23 through July 12, 2023 and will be hosted by Emory University.
Scholarships
EITM provides funding for students to attend classes at the ICPSR Summer Program.
Certification
Students attending the ICPSR Summer Program may obtain EITM Certification for coursework successfully completed.
EITM Europe
EITM Europe is a similar program, based in Europe and created by Thomas König of the University of Mannheim, Germany.
